We are currently accepting volunteer applications. However, we may not reach out to you right away. Volunteer roles will be assigned between February 15th and March 24th.

Perks of being a volunteer:
-
Gain event experience - looking to get into the event industry? This is a great way to learn some things and see if you're cut out for it.
-
Event access - while not fulfilling your volunteer role, you'll have the opportunity to experience the event for yourself [for FREE!]
-
Meet and connect with prominent women in the community - this event will be full of female business owners and women doing great things in the community. Use this opportunity to network and learn about these women! You'll also be able to meet and build community with attendees and other volunteers.
-
Demonstrate and act on your passion for female empowerment and community - if this is a cause you care about, this is a great way to give back to the community and help us convey our mission.
-
Vendor social - as a thank you, we'll throw a party just for you, where you can further network and connect with other volunteers.
-
Appreciation - as a volunteer with Winning Woman Wellness, your role and accomplishments will not go unnoticed. A thank you will never go unsaid and we will do everything in our power to make sure you know you are appreciated!

Roles to Consider:

Set-up & Break-down
The set-up crew will be responsible for decorating and organizing the event venue the evening before and the morning of the event. You might also assist in vendor set-up, speaker set-up, and/or other activities as directed.

The break-down crew will ensure that vendors are not breaking down early, take down any structures/decoration done for the event, and clean up after vendors and attendees.

Registration & Ticket Sales
Are you naturally outgoing and friendly? Are you warm and welcoming? As a registration/ticket volunteer, you'll be the gatekeeper between our attendees and the event, so we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill this role.

Parking
Because our venue has additional parking in a lot at the end of the block, we need people to direct traffic and help our guests easily find proper parking.

Usher & Stage Hand
Our speakers are an integral part of the event, and the person(s) in this role must have attention-to-detail and an outgoing, friendly personality. This role will direct attendees to their seats, clean up between speakers, and attend to speaker needs.

Photographer
Are you new to photography and looking to gain experience or build your portfolio? Maybe you're an experienced photographer and willing to donate your services in the name of our mission. We wouldn't want this day to pass without capturing the excitement and magic. We are truly grateful for any person(s) willing to fill this role.

Event Coordinator Assistant
As the event coordinator assistant, you'll be Shauna's right hand. When the event coordinator is being pulled left and right, forward and backwards, all at the same time, the assistant role will be crucial in filling gaps, running errands, and communicating with various other roles.

Volunteer Supervisor
Another critical role - the volunteer supervisor will be in charge of directing all other volunteers and making sure everything is being done in a timely and accurate manner. As the supervisor, you may have to step in when things aren't being done fast enough or in areas where we might lack hands. You'll be asked to fill in any gaps and ensure that everything is running smoothly.
