What is a Winning Woman?
Dear Woman,
You are a winning woman if...
...you live and breathe for a purpose greater than yourself.
...you feel empowered to accomplish your wildest dreams.
...you do not give up in the face of adversity.
...you do not diminish, sabotage, or dismiss the success of other women to further your own agenda.
...you follow your heart, your gut, your instinct, or whatever little thing inside you that keeps your fire alive and assures you that you're on the right path.
...you have goals and aspirations you work toward every. single. day.
...the people around you are always smiling.
...you smile through the pain and the sorrow.
...you let your smile fade when you just can't smile any longer.
...you see beauty where others do not.
...you see strength where others see weakness.
...you recognize that not every moment can be a winning moment, but you. keep. going.
...you allow yourself to fall, but then get back up as soon as you can.
...you have people that love you.
...you have people you love.
...the hurtles make you jump higher.
...you place your values and integrity at the forefront of your mission.
...you inspire the lives of those around you.
...you do not accept 'no' as an answer and push the limits of yourself and those around you in order to achieve ultimate greatness in your own life, as well as the lives of those you love.
...you look up to other female leaders for inspiration, encouragement, and motivation.
A winning woman cannot be defined by a list of criteria, for which each box must be checked. You may identify with some of the above, all of the above, or none of the above. However, what makes you a winning woman is when you look in the mirror and say to yourself, "I am a winning woman." It is only when you place that description upon yourself and own it that you become a winning, empowered, incredible woman.
You win when you accomplish those tasks you've been putting off. You win when you take time out of your day to call and talk to someone you love. You win when you take one step closer to achieving your dream life. You win when you hug a person who needs to feel loved. You win by doing the things that make you happy, that rebuild your confidence, that reset your mindfulness, that remind you of what is important. You win at everything you put 100% of your efforts, abilities, and heart into. You are a winning woman because you are a woman, and no one can take that away from you.
YOU are a winning woman. Say so. Be so. Do so.
