Who is Danielle Lennon?
"California born, but southern raised, my perspective was shaped by my childhood military travels and the exposure to diverse people all over the world. This innate ability to connect to people eventually lead to a life of service in education. Teaching allowed my creative mind to flourish while expanding my impact to empower youth and women. While teaching, I knew it was time to move beyond the classroom and followed the mantel of my grandmother in business ownership. I had talent to convey a message and retail experience in styling, so owning a boutique aligned well with my skills and purpose. My journey to living my best life has also served as a motivational tool for women I come in contact with. From divorce, child-loss to building a brand, my message of “success despite doubts” became a mantra that is easily relatable and encouraging. When not in my boutique, or mentoring, I spend time with my husband Andre and 2 children, Jasmine and Andre Jr., enjoying new eateries and exploring Charlotte, NC." - Danielle Lennon
Why did I choose Danielle Lennon to be a speaker at Winning Woman Wellness? For starters, she's been with me since I started this project. Her support and high energy have helped to carry me through my various attempts at creating something that will serve the women of Charlotte in a way that is much needed. She's shown up when no one else has, and her positivity and experience serve as a lighthouse that any woman could look to for guidance. She joined me at an event hosted by OvercomeHER and volunteered to get up on stage and speak in front of the audience in a conversation the hosts and panelists were having with the guests, and I knew then, when I saw her speak, that she has the ability to say what needs to be said while inspiring and exemplifying the power that all women should never hesitate to exude. She won't hold back and her message will hit you, whether you're ready for it or not. I chose Danielle Lennon to be a speaker at Winning Woman Wellness because I know that those who attend the event and listen to her words will leave feeling like they can accomplish anything.
