Maya Angelou is certainly one to look up to, as her words have had the power to change lives. To listen to her speak and to read her writing is a privilege that should never be taken advantage of. So when someone has compiled a list of Maya Angelou's 10 rules for success, it's not something to be taken lightly. They are simple rules, yet things we can always use a reminder for.
1. Just do right. "Right may not be profitable, but it will satisfy your soul."
2. Be courageous.
3. Love.
4. Laugh. "If you don't laugh, you will die."
5. Be a blessing to somebody.
6. Turn struggles into triumphs.
7. You are talented.
8. Learn to say no.
9. Always do your best.
10. Keep rising.
